As an adult, sometimes it gets hard to pay your bills; in very rare instances, your stuff gets repossessed. However, it’s a might embarrassing if you’re a superhero: I mean, what if they repossessed the Batmobile? Whatever the plight, the job has to be done, even for superheros… and that’s where the Paybacks come in!

The first issue introduces us to the crew of the Paybacks – Emory Raines, Bloodpouch, Skisquatch, The Soviet Nunchuck, Miss Adventure, Driver, Jacob Destruction, Doctor Black and Ms. Pierce – on the job trying to repossess items from the Night Knight and and Battery, two superheros who have fallen behind on their payments. While The Night Knight isn’t going down without a fight, it seems that someone wasn’t too pleased with Battery, and maybe he owed a bit more than money.

This issue was hilarious, from start to finish! Filled with action, corny jokes, good dialogue and great coloring and line work, as well as a rag-tag team of super heroes turned Repo people! Sure to have you laughing and adding to your pull list.

You can find this, and other Dark Horse Comics, at your local and digital comic retailer.
