There’s always one pivotal moment in your teen years that changes your life; that takes you from a child to an adult. For Teddy Ruffins, it was a break-in to a library that started a chain of events that would forever change his life.

Teddy was an introvert; he preferred books to people. After breaking into a library for the second time, he’s punished, forced to get out of the house and socialize. It would be that punishment and being forced to “fit in” that would reveal the sins of his father, and send his world crashing down around him.

This first issue of Snow Blind is well written; it introduces you to the story without feeding you too much information. It gives you just the right amount to get you hooked, and just enough to keep you reading. The artwork is good; reminiscent of watercolors on paper. In a field of white, it gives just enough color to pop and grab your attention. Very good add to your pull list; I’m interested to see how they pull this story off in just 4 issues!

You can find this, and other BOOM! Studios issues, at your local and digital retailer.
