Core/Demo [kohr dem-oh] 1. The core demographic of video game and comic fans. 2. A demonstration of (core) belly dancing. 3. A show combining music, dance, and geekery to celebrate, honor, and support those that fight through pain on a daily basis.

Saturday, August 11th (right after Wizard World) at the Elastic Arts Foundation

Also, a special silent auction will be held featuring items donated by Valve Software including a 1:1 SCALE REPLICA PORTAL DEVICE. All proceeds of the auction will go to benefit the American Cancer Society.

    Core Demo raised over and above the amount they were shooting for, and in today’s tough economy, that is saying something if I do say so myself.
