CORE/DEMO 2015 Charity Event (8/15/15)

On August 15th, Mighty Ink Comics & Entertainment will team up with The Glint: A Tribal & Tribal Fusion Belly Dance Event to host our Core/Demo fundraiser at The Orphanage in Chicago. This is our third Core/Demo event, and we’re excited for you to come and have a great time for a great cause. The Glint’s theme this time around is “Gods & Myth.” It will feature a variety of entertainment including music and dance, as well as a silent auction with items from the worlds of gaming, comics, and even roller derby and pro-wrestling. The money raised from this event will be donated to the American Cancer Society in order to help them continue their lifesaving work in research, education, advocacy, and patient services.  We count on the generosity and support of our friends, family, partners and communities to succeed in our goal to help eliminate cancer and help all who are affected by it.

Mighty Ink Comics, a website and podcast dedicated to all things comic, gaming, sci-fi and wrestling, attracts viewers both locally and nationally, and your presence at our auction can help us make this year’s Core/Demo our most successful yet and you will directly impact the lives of patients, survivors, their family and friends and feel awesome in the process.

The Glint is a bi-monthly tribal and tribal fusion bellydance event that is created and hosted by Chicago’s own Mae the Belly Dancer (Mae Phillips). It is a show that is devoted to allowing belly dance artists, teachers and students from the Chicagoland area and beyond to share their talent with a large and positive audience.

If you can’t make it out on August 15th, please feel free to support the American Cancer Society by donating right here. Thank you in advance, and stay mighty!

A big thanks to our sponsors and donors:
